About Durgapur Technical Institute (DTI)

DTI is a budding Professional Institute and Development Organization managed by Graduate Engineers having more than 15 years experience in industry. We intend to offer Education in different Professional Fields and impart Computer Education at nominal cost to create skilled professional in various fields of education to make its presence felt in the growth of society as a whole. Presently we are conducting two (2) years Diploma in Automobile Engineering under the affiliation of “The Institution of Motor Industries, Chennai-600004.

Our Vision

DURGAPUR TECHNICAL INSTITUTE (DTI) has been established with the noble vision of  disseminating contemporary Technical Education suiting to the needs of the industry. This vision document has been prepared to convey our vision to the world pertaining to the education domain.

With the recent steps adopted by the STATE GOVERNMENT & CENTRAL GOVERNMENT in setting up of industries, especially in the IT, Manufacturing, Automobile and Medicine sector, IT envisioned that there will be a huge requirement. The government initiatives in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and Manufacturing sector calls for the professionals sound in Technology and Management, We Aim to address this demand with our striving effort to introduce new courses as well as incorporate the existing courses.
Our Mission
    The Mission includes an objective
    • To strive to become a centre of excellence in Technical Education.
    • To implement teaching and evaluation methodologies to the standards of leading institutions of the world, enhance interaction with industry.
    • To simplify the procedures and increase awareness towards individual responsibility and develop a support system both for students and faculty.
    • To prepare students to be informed, active and engaged citizens in a global society as a whole.
    • To strengthen partnerships with business and industry and other educational institutions.
    • To nurture a campus climate that will be inviting and intellectually stimulating to all students and staff.
    • To demonstrate a conscious effort to support student in and out of class learning, measure that learning, asses how well learning is occurring and make changes to improve student learning.
